The Rab Men’s Infinity Microlight Jacket has the same feel, lightweight warmth, and compact packability as the original Microlight Down Jacket. Rab simply updated this insulator with a GORE-TEX INFINIUM shell for windproof, water-resistant protection that’s still extremely breathable to keep you comfier when you’re climbing, backcountry touring, or hiking in damp and windy conditions. It blocks brisk breezes from shivering your core, and raindrops and snowflakes bead right off the fabric’s surface. Even the 700-fill down insulation has a hydrophobic treatment to retain its lofty warmth even if it happens to get wet. The down is stuffed in micro and nano baffles to reduce cold spots over time by keeping the right amount of warmth right where it should be. Rab used recycled down to be environmentally thoughtful. The hood is large enough to fit over climbing helmets, and the stiffened peak stays out of eyesight and overhead.
